If you want to measure the maximum or minimum value of a waveform which changes each time a sweep is performed, set the trace you want to measure to MAX/MIN HOLD mode and perform REPEAT sweeping. The trace display at the side of the data area appears as “MAX HOLD” or “MIN HOLD”. Note that the NOISE MASK soft key setting applies when a waveform is displayed, and is not affected when a maximum or minimum value is detected. ROLL AVG Mode (Rolling Average Mode) Writes the rolling average values of the waveform data during each sweep. When a trace is set to ROLL AVG mode, each time measurement is performed the rolling average of the current measurement and past measurements is calculated, and the measurement data are updated.
